Our Club had the highest grooming hours per groomer in District 5 for the 4th year in a row  in 2004/2005 and we intend on keeping up the good work and having the smoothest trails in this area, thank you for your support in purchasing a permit from us this season.

For the 2004/2005 season we purchased a new drag from Ebert welding that will make a major inprovement on our trails.

For the 2005/2006 season we have purchased a  TS115A Shur Trac groomer from Ebert Welding and this unit with be hooked to our used Marcell Drag.

With everyone's support we can continue to make our club grow and still have the best trails in the area. To help us reach these goals , tell your permit retailer that you want a pass from the Science Hill Drifters S/C.

One last note, I would personally like to thank all of our volunteer working club members for all the time and work done to make our trails the best in this area . A lot of work goes on behind the scenes that the average snowmobiler never sees but is necessary to keep the club functioning . Great work Guys and Gals !!!

We Try !!!
If you found our trails in excellent shape and well groomed this past season. Please remember to buy your trail permit this year from The Science Hill Drifters. Our club receives a portion of  the revenue on each trail pass sold this helps us keep our trails well groomed and the best in our area.

Looking for accommodations or a good meal while in the St. Marys area ?
Check out the  The Stone Willow Inn  , with a trail to it's door on the east side of St. Marys, and some very good sled and stay packages.

Our groomers have no specific schedule for what trail gets done on what day, we try to groom each trail twice a week and then only on weekends if necessary, of course all this depends on the weather. With 188 kms of trail to groom it takes some time to completely groom our trails. See the grooming page (Grooming Page) for more details on grooming from our Club.

The District 5 trail guide is at snowmobile dealers and permit retailers and select gas stations in our area or pick one up at our club house
